Best & Worst: Non Wrestling Segments

2021-07-29.jpg

So many of the most memorable moments in pro-wrestling history happen outside of the bell. And just because they're memorable, doesn't mean they're good. Today the Palskis bring their Best & Worst series to main podcast feed, starting with the best & worst Non Wrestling Segments. From multiple versions of This Is Your Life, a Jay Lethal Flair off, DX heading to WCW, to Macho Man getting angry at Hogan - there are plenty of iconic and plenty of tragic moments to revisit.

News of the week includes some Hardy COVID, a new New Years PPV, a scripted series about the 90s WWF Steroid Trial, Super Porky, AEW's philanthropy and much more.

Blood in Wrestling

2021-07-22.jpg

After the bloody confrontation between Jon Moxley and Lance Archer, the Palskis are talking about the use of Blood in Wrestling. When is best used? Is an accident better than gigging? How much is too much blood and what happens when the line gets crossed? And what are some of the most iconic bloody moments and others that don't sit well?

Plus news of the week includes Thunder Rosa signing a new contract, Jake the Snake Roberts signing an extension of his last one, news about Keira Hogan, Velveteen Dream, Lana, WWE in Theaters and more!

Better Heel or Face? : CM Punk

2021-07-15.jpg

The Palskis bring their former Patron Exclusive series "Better Heel or Face?" to the main pod-feed for the first time! This time the subject is the polarizing CM Punk as we celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Pipe Bomb and build that lead to him leaving the company with the WWE Championship in Chicago at Money in the Bank 2011. Was the excitement of the crowd behind him as he blew a kiss to Vince McMahon more powerful than the wave of boos and shock that fell over the crowd when he smeared the ashes of Paul Bearer over himself?!

News of the week includes the Varsity Blondes being All Elite, yet another Hardy being born, Sunny trying to trademark Sunny, the Passing of Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorf, Chelsea Green's ROH debut and much more!

Wrestling Treasures We Actually Care About

2021-07-09.jpg

A&E's "WWE's Most Wanted Treasures" tasked iconic superstars like The Undertaker, Mick Foley, Jake the Snake Roberts, Mark Henry, and The Big Show with pretending to search for lost Wrestling Memorabilia that WWE clearly already located! It was still a fun show none-the-less and it got the boys wondering... What "Wrestling Treasures" would THEY actually have a sentimental attachment too?

News of the week includes Aliester Black AKA Tommy End AKA Malakai Black debuting on AEW, the condition of legendary Terry Funk, Jimmy Uso's DUI, Paul Heyman toying with marks, and much more!

What are we going to do with... Jim Ross in AEW

2021-07-03.jpg

Today is the first edition of a brand new series called "What are we going to do with... " and we're kicking it off talking about Jim Ross in AEW. After his WWE mishaps and some of the more questionable comments during commentary, where do we stand on the voice of wrestling? Has the greatest to ever do it lost touch? Is he incapable of change? or is he simply not being given the help he needs?! And ultimately, what are we going to do with him?!

News of the week includes Zelina Vega's return to WWE, Sonjay Dutt's exit, Ronda Rousey's baby girl, and the loss of The Patriot, Del Wilkes.

Wrestling PPV Names

2021-06-24.jpg

The Palskis are talking all about Wrestling PPV Names, from the good, to the bad, to the absolutely fugly. What do they mean anymore? Do they actually help sell tickets or buys? Are events named after matches inherently better, or worse? Exactly WHOS balls are great and WHY are they on fire?!

News of the week includes WWE returning to MSG, getting new Raw and SD sets, oh and releasing a bunch more talent including Breezango, The Bollywood Boys, a brand new writer and many more. Also Impact hears some wedding bells on the horizon, John Cena isn't done with wrestling, and much more.

We also have the 2nd ever PWP Championship Palski Battle Royal!

Unlikely Tag Teams

2021-06-19.jpg

Today the Palskis are talking all about unlikely tag-teams and how the formula of an odd couple has brought some people incredible success, and others terrible awful shame. Also teams that found each other out of necessity, boredom, or even last ditch efforts at relevance.

News of the week includes two wrestling babies, Samoa Joe's return to NXT, The Million Dollar Champion, PWG's return, and Cody Rhodes new podcast venture!

WWE Encyclopedia

2021-06-10.jpg

The boys are updating their classic Patreon Series, WWE Encyclopedia for the new era of Pro Wrestling Palskis, which includes the brand new, recently gifted, "4th Edition" of the famed hardcover book! The topics are up to the fates as they pick random pages and discuss whatever they see! This week finds them talking Mabel/Viscera and Men on a Mission, Luther Reigns, Bret Hart, Brie Bella, the Mae Young Classic, handsome Gerald Briscoe, and both Man Mountain Mike and Man Mountain Rock... yep both the Men Mountain!

News of the week includes the all women's NWA PPV, Lio Rush's retirement, Andrade el Idolo's AEW debut and much more!

WWE : Then. Now. Endeavored.

2021-06-03.jpg

When WWE releases yet another handful of talent including recent Championship contender and headliner like Braun Strowman, the show topic just sort of falls into our lap! The constant releases, changes, and more have the web speculating on the state of WWE. So lets talk about it! It's Then. Now. Endeavored! The Current state, and future of WWE as the world's leading “Pro Wrestling” organization.

"B Plus Players"

2021-05-27.jpg

This week we're talking about "B Plus Players." It may have had a negative connotation when Stephanie McMahon labeled Daniel Bryan as one, but it's grown to describe a wellspring of talented wrestlers who, for whatever reason, never quite made it to (or were able to sustain) main event status.  We're talking all about our favorites and more and why it may be they've been stuck with label.

News topics of the week include WWE going back on the road, the release of Velveteen Dream, the status of Adnon Virk, Don Callus, a NJPW Covid outbreak and more!

One More Match!

2021-05-20.jpg

News of the week includes a wave of NXT releases, AEW Rampage, and the passing of Jerome Young, AKA New Jack.

Main topic is the ever romanticized notion of "One More Match." From those who have come out of retirement, to others who never quite officially left the business behind, we're talking about superstars who have successfully returned for one last moment of glory, and those who may regret having done so. Plus who do we feel has one more match in them and what do they need in an opponent? All that and more on the maiden voyage of Pro Wrestling Palskis.

Mania Week Begins!

2021-04-09c.jpg

Mania week has began and at the time of recording this week's episode we've had the Wrestlemania go-home raw, the 2020 and 2021 Hall of Fame induction "ceremonies," and the first night of NXT Takeover Stand and Deliver! Scott and Jake are diving into all of that plus an AEW Dynamite that featured the return of the Inner Circle, and a Smackdown that featured the return of the Rated R Superstar.

Christian Cage Stands and Delivers

2021-04-02a.jpg

Scott and Jake have a lot to chat about as Christian Cage made his in-ring singles return on AEW Dynamite to start the show that ended in an Arcade Anarchy match that has the wrestling world mashing buttons and whacking moles. Plus the final NXT before Takeover: Stand and Deliver finds LA Knight in a good position to win the North American Title and does a great job of hyping Kyle O'Rielly vs Adam Cole, and the Wrestlemania card continues to solidify on Raw and Smackdown as Roman gets a new contender AND the Hurt Business has some accounting issues. All that and more!
